His death has affected you all, whether you knew him well or not." Said Albus Dumbledore about Cedric. Then again he chose to be a ghost... So he's got some issues there. Any questions? History: Cedric was the Captain of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and played Seeker until he passed away in 1995. He was also selected as Hogwarts Champion for the Triwizard. He did rather well in the Tournament up until the part where he got killed by Peter Pettigrew on Voldemort's command. If it wasn't for that particular litte bump in the road, he'd have had it in the bag.
A small explination on how and why Cedric is back...what he can do... etc...
It took a year and a half in real time but, to Cedric, it only seemed like a month or so that he found himself sitting at the proverbial "door" to the afterlife. Something stopped him from entering... Something that could have startling implications for Harry.
He wanted to finish up with his education and was allowed the chance to come back by Dumbledore, despite the Headmaster's disappointment that Cedric had returned in ghost form.
While ghosts, as a rule, don't affect the physical world there are some exceptions. Myrtle can splash water out of the toilet she haunts when she wants to cause a ruckus to demonstrate how miserable she is.
Since Cedric is handling a quill and journal one may be lead to believe he is has also taken an element. It appears Mr. Diggory has taken the element of air. Not a surprise for someone as adept in flying as he was.
Still, even as an elemental he is still quite fragile and still learning...
Appearance: Pale silvery-blue hair, pale silvery-blue eyes... He's said to be extremely good looking... and now 50% more transparent!
